Lighting profiles – a discreet addition of light:

Lighting profiles are a combination of an aluminium profile and a high-quality diffuser (cover, lens) made of polycarbonate (or PMMA in the case of the black profile). The profiles are ideal for creating discreet and elegant lighting in various spaces. They offer not only decorative lighting but also an aesthetic finish, allowing installation on flat wall sections and in corners. The profile can be used to separate zones and to join coverings, making it a versatile addition to any interior.

Profiles with LED diffuser - application:

The Profiled profile is used in homes, offices, shops, and other commercial and residential spaces where subtle lighting is needed. Its versatility allows for the creation of both functional and decorative lighting effects, giving interiors a unique atmosphere. It works perfectly in places where the lighting is meant to highlight architectural details or decorative elements, e.g. in bathroom niches or under a bathtub surround, as well as discreet accent lighting in living rooms, kitchens or hallways.

Features and benefits:

Lighting profiles with LED diffusers are 250 cm long with the option of cutting to any size. The height of the profiles is 7 mm, and the width is 15 mm (straight profile used e.g. between tiles on a wall) or 23 mm (corner profile with wings). The width of the profile is selected to allow convenient installation of standard or waterproof LED strips inside.

The aluminium profile is available in matte (anodised) silver or inox, and matte black powder-coated. The profile cover ensures an even, diffused line of light. The cover material is resistant to ageing (it does not yellow over time). Profiles with a diffuser conceal LED strips, act as a heat sink to dissipate heat, increase safety, e.g. against flooding, improve resistance to mechanical damage, improve the linearity of the light source, and give an aesthetic appearance.

LED profiles protect LED strips from moisture and mechanical damage. LED strips from the Excellent range are indeed protected with a gel coating against moisture, but fitting the strip into a profile increases its lifespan by dissipating heat and protects it against mechanical damage.
